Welcome to Hawthorne & Hue. By purchasing artwork, commissioning a custom piece, or interacting with our website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These policies are designed to create clarity, protect both parties, and ensure a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

1. Handmade Artwork

All pieces are individually created by hand, meaning each one will have its own texture, movement, and character. Variations in color, pattern, and finish are a natural part of the paint-pour process and are not considered defects.

2. Orders & Payment

Payment is required at the time of purchase. Commissioned work may require a non-refundable deposit to begin the creative process. Once an order is placed, cancellations may only be made within a short window and only if the item has not been prepared for shipping.

3. Commissions

Custom artwork is made in collaboration with your vision and direction. Because each commission is tailored specifically for you, all deposits and final sales are non-refundable once work has begun. You will receive progress updates and a final approval photo before your piece ships.

4. Shipping & Handling

Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or location. Each piece is packaged with care and protected for transit. A small handling fee may be applied at checkout to support the cost of wrapping materials and packaging.

Once your order is marked as delivered by the carrier, it is considered successfully fulfilled.

5. Damaged or Lost Orders

If your artwork arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. We will review the situation and work with you toward the best possible solution.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Because every artwork is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, all sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Damaged items will be handled according to the process above.

7. Privacy & Personal Information

Any information you share during checkout or communication (such as your name, email, or address) is used solely to complete your order or respond to your inquiries. We do not sell or share your information.

8. Website Use

All images, designs, and content on the Hawthorne & Hue website are owned by the artist and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.

9. Agreement

By placing an order, booking a commission, or using the Hawthorne & Hue website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
